We'll, I was all warmed up and at the start line then they were rolling my bike out and I looked up and Missy (one of the assistant coaches) was holding my rear derailleur cable and my bike in two different hands. It had snapped clean from my shifter. So this was 5 mins before my start and then Marc, the mechanic, had to change the cable. Even though he made the fastest cable in the history of bike-kind, I was still 3 mins late to my start. :( oh well. I really couldn't do anything about it, so I just tried staying chill. On the official results I received a 41st place 3 mins and 33.04 seconds down. Call me if you want to know my "virtual" time and place.
The RR is on Sunday so now I'm pumped for that!
